November Already!!

Wow, can you believe how fast this year flew by? My parents always said time speeds up as you get older, and I'm starting to think they're right! It feels like just yesterday we were ringing in the new year, full of hopes and resolutions, and now here we are, looking back at the months that zipped by. Each season brought its own mix of challenges and joys, and as I reflect, I realize how much has happened in such a short time. The days blur together with the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but some moments stand out, reminding me to cherish each one.

Kevin retired from his full-time job this past June, which was a big change for both of us. It's a bittersweet moment, celebrating his new freedom while adjusting to life without the usual 9-to-5 routine. We're almost all set with our farm tasks before the season kicks off! It's so rewarding to see all our hard work paying off. Kevin finished shearing the trees, a careful task that keeps them healthy and looking good. We've mowed the fields, turning the landscape into a beautifully manicured setting ready for the busy season ahead. We've also started setting up photo op spots, creating perfect areas for families to capture memories against our stunning trees. Besides these preparations, Kevin has been busy crafting unique baskets for me to use in our special evergreen floral designs. Each basket is a piece of art, showing off his creativity and attention to detail, and I can't wait to use them in my arrangements. Now, I'm just waiting for a good frost to start cutting the greenery for my creations, as frost brings out the best colors and textures in the foliage, making it perfect for my floral designs. We love showcasing local artists and their unique creations, offering gifts with a personal touch.
